"ADVANCED THERAPY
P.L.L.C., IS PENDING APPROVAL FROM THE NEW YORK STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
TO PROVIDE PRESCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION ITINERANT SERVICES AND PRESCHOOL
MULTI-DISCIPLINARY/ SUPPLEMENTAL EVALUATIONS"
Our special education teachers working
with children birth–three and three–five show parents
techniques and activities designed to stimulate and encourage the growth
and development of the child’s skills.
Services can be provided
at a preschool, daycare or child’s home where special education
teachers help them develop social, self-help, motor, language, and cognitive
skills, often through the use of play. Special education teachers use
various techniques to promote learning. Depending on the disability, teaching
methods can include individualized instruction, problem-solving assignments,
and small-group work. |

Our psychologists evaluate the physiological, cognitive, and social
development for infants. They also assess the effectiveness of academic
programs, prevention programs, behavior management procedures, and other
services provided in the pre-school setting. They collaborate with teachers,
parents, and school personnel to create safe, healthy, and supportive
learning environments for all children. |
