School Based Services
Advanced Therapy P.L.L.C. currently provides occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech language pathology and psychology services to more than 20 school districts in and around the Capital Region. Our therapists are knowledgeable with IEP Direct and Clear Track as well as other commonly utilized Individualized Education Program development and reporting systems. Through a team approach, our clinicians consult with parents, teachers, and administrators in addition to other educational staff members to implement and develop each student’s individualized educational plan.
Philosophy
Advanced Therapy’s staff understands that the purpose of school is to enhance a student’s functional skills as they relate to access and participation within the academic context. Our experienced therapists strive to improve function by providing services directly, both in the therapy context as well as the classroom setting when possible. We believe it is essential to take a team approach when developing a student’s Individualized Educational Program and ongoing consultation with teaching staff is regularly performed to assist students in carryover of skills to classroom setting.
Administration
Advanced Therapy P.L.L.C. believes preparation is essential in order to provide quality services to school district as well as each individual student. Advanced Therapy’s administration takes pride in providing therapists with the necessary equipment, support and education to ensure success in their assigned sites.
In addition, staff and administration assist school districts to develop and implement policy and procedures as it pertains to therapy services. This includes work with our clients to develop criteria for receiving therapy services, Medicaid documentation, screening protocols and much more. Our administration is available to our clients to assist in enhancing related service programming and prevent problems from occurring.
The use of annual surveys, site visits, internal audits and consistent communication with each site assist in maintaining the high level of service our company expects. Staff performance is assessed on an ongoing basis as to ensure provision of quality, beneficial therapy services to students.
Evaluations
Advanced Therapy provides each site and respective therapists with their own standardized test to ensure all evaluations are completed in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with State Regulations.

Cost
Advanced Therapy P.L.L.C prides itself on being able to render school based therapy services in a cost effective manner while still maintaining optimal quality. Average district savings range from $25,000 - $40,000 per full time employee by contracting to Advanced Therapy verses hiring their own or contracting to BOCES.
Advanced Therapy has provided school districts continuity with staffing and consistency in cost. Districts can choose from one year contracts to multiple year contracts with a fixed cost. We offer an all inclusive rate which includes:
